I will be at Gemini Beer Company located on the lawn at the Lowell School at 310 N. 7th St teaching shibori. Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique using indigo ink that produces patterns on fabric. You will manipulate the fabric by scrunching, folding, binding, bundling while also using rubber bands, yarn, clips, blocks , etc. to create an array of patterns. This workshop is open to to whomever would like to connect with others, experience something new and create something for yourself or a gift, while having fun and getting a little messy. The fee is $25, which covers instruction. tools and materials, 4 white cotton napkins and 1 free craft beer or non-alcoholic beverage courtesy of Gemini Beer Company.
