Fiber & Flair: The Art of Creative Textiles

This workshop will take place on 12/30/24 from 9:00am-3:30pm. drop off is from 8:45-9am and pick up is from 3:30-4pm. Bring a lunch, water bottle, snacks and ready to create. Artists who are 5 and older are welcome to participate.

Creating art with fibers through sewing, felting, and weaving combines creativity with craftsmanship, offering endless opportunities for self-expression. These techniques foster fine motor skills, patience, and problem-solving abilities while connecting makers to rich traditions of textile artistry. The process can also provide therapeutic benefits, promoting mindfulness and a sense of accomplishment.
